Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using Owambe HQ (the “Platform”) operated by Owambe HQ Ltd (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the platform at https://owambehq.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, please do not use the platform.

1. Use of the Platform

Owambe HQ provides a digital marketplace where users can discover and connect with event vendors in Nigeria and beyond. Users can:

  • Create an account for free

  • Browse vendor profiles

  • Contact vendors through our messaging feature or their social media links

Currently, we do not process payments or bookings directly on the platform. These may be added in the future.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these Terms.

3. Vendor Listings

Vendors listed on Owambe HQ are third-party service providers. While we aim to verify and vet vendors, we do not guarantee the accuracy of information on their profiles or the quality of their services.

We are not a party to any contracts between users and vendors. Any issues, disputes, or claims arising from such transactions are solely between the user and the vendor.

4. Content Submission and Usage

By uploading content (such as reviews, photos, or comments) to the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and display such content for platform-related purposes.

You must not post:

  • False or misleading information

  • Offensive, defamatory, or abusive content

  • Infringing or unauthorized material

We reserve the right to remove or moderate content that violates these rules.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform

  • Interfere with platform operations or other users’ experience

  • Use automated scripts or bots without permission

6. Future Changes and Features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform, including adding future features such as in-app payments, direct bookings, and premium vendor subscriptions.

These Terms may be updated accordingly, and your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance.

7. Limitation of Liability

Owambe HQ is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform. We shall not be held liable for:

  • Vendor service quality or performance

  • Losses resulting from third-party engagements

  • Data loss or unauthorized access

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Owambe HQ harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
